On Friday the 11th of March at Snug ,we had to be there by 6.15 pm.
Izzy,Zoe, Jess and Em went to the guide and scout regatta with me.
Em, Sam and Holly were in the same tent as me.
Day1
When we got there we had to set up our tents.after we had done that we put all our stuff in the tent & then me Jess and em went looking for Izzy and Zoe because the are in scout and we are in guides. A few minutes later we found Izzy and Zoe,we said hi and showed them where we were camped. Then left.at 10pm we had hot Milo or chocolate and a biscuit.then at 1030pm we went to bed.
Day2
I could not get to sleep because Sam and holly were talking all night.We had to get up at 8am, for breakfast we had to bring our own breakfast. I brought coco pops.At 10 am we had to assemble for the grand opening of the camp. Then we got changed into our bathers & went to the beach and watched the sail past. at 12pm we had lunch, had a salad roll which had lettuce, cheese , carrot and ham in it,a pine & mango juice with an apple to eat.we all had our lunch on the beach.2pm i did the line heaving with my unit(line heaving is when you through a rope to like save someone life if they were in the water).3.10pm i went on a pacer dinghy with Ally ,shes from the Northern Territory.A pacer dinghy is like a way smaller yacht.at 4.45pm Me ,Hannah, Holly and Jess went in the sack race but i can`t remember who won. at 5,30 i had a shower and it was cold but i didn’t mind that.we had dinner at 6pm and i had 2 roast potatoes ,a large spoon full of corn,bread and chicken schnitzel with gravy on top ,for dessert i had chocolate cake.at 7pm we had the tug-o-war but we lost:(.there was a disco at 8 and i went to it for around about 30 minutes because me , Jess and em got bored and it was way too loud so there was a movie on at 8.30 and we watched it ,it was called Fantastic Mr fox. when the movie was finished it was about 10pm,that was the time we had to go back to our tents, and i had a hot very hot Milo before i went to bed at 10.30 pm.
Day 3
we had to be out of bed by 7 am but we all got out before that time.for breakfast which was 730am i had sausages with scrabbled eggs and corn flakes ,the eggs didn’t taste very good (they were watery).at 9 am we had the sea boot throw. i threw it 11.3 metres. when i had the Greasy pole at 11am i versed Beth and i won but i couldn’t have the finals because too many people wanted to do it.me Kate ,Jess, Sam,holly, Amber and Maya went in a patrol rowing boat at 12pm .at 1pm i had lunch,we had ham, lettuce, carrot and cheese wraps with biscuits and strawberry milk.the bucket relay was the next thing i entered with Maya , Hannah and Brianna.there was a garbage bin and we had little buckets to fill it with but only one of us could go at a time ,this was at the beach.we came 4th or 5th .45 minutes later we had convict flags and i had em, amber and Beth on my team and it was like the three legged race expect there was 5 legs, we had to dive for a peg thing & em fell so i fell and then we all fell and just started crawling across the sand.it was heaps of fun!!!the tube swim was next at 3.15pm and i had Kate, Amber and holly and we had to swim with a big round rubber tube for round about 50 to 70 metres.then we had the float swim at 4.30pm i had Sam , Em and Holly and we had to swim with a buoy with a rope on the end for about 50 to 70 metres.after that i had another shower, it was the same as the other one.at 6pm i had dinner, it had lettuce, capsicum bread potatoes and yogurt. at 8.30pm i watched how to train your dragon and ate salt & vinegar chips and BBQ chips, m&ms smartie chocolate &cheese biscuits.10pm we had to head back to the tents and 30minutes later we had to go back to bed.
Day 4
6.45am we had to be out of bed so we could pack up our beds.7.30pm we had breakfast and i was delicious because it was pancakes with maple syrup on top.the baton swim was at 9.15am and i had Sam , Em and Holly. we came 2nd or 3rd ( we had to swim with a baton).sand sculptures were next at 10 am Em and Jess made it with me.we made a couch with a mat ,TV and a recycling bin because the theme of the camp was recycling. At noon we had rolls again with cheese, lettuce, ham and carrot with pine&mango juice and biscuits.an hour later we had to pack up the rest of the tents and 45 minutes after that we had the final parade and presentations.At 2.30pm we had to go home and Kate’s mum took me home because mum had to work and we got soft serves from McDonald’s.
Kate , Jess, Em and Sam go to the same school as me & Maya, Beth, Amber and Holly go to a school about 15 minutes drive from my school.
Jess and Emily went on it first, then me and Jess ,after that me and Emily. after a few hours we came back and had lunch. after a few minutes we went back on the boat. we all went back on the ski biscuit.Em and Jess went back on it first then me and Jess ,and finally me and Em ,it was HEAPS of fun, we almost did a nose dive but we avoided it ( thank god for that).
